Add shipment tracking to WooCommerce orders without a heavyweight fulfillment system
O2S Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce is being built for stores that need a straightforward way to attach carrier and tracking information to an order, show it to the customer and keep the shipment record connected to WooCommerce. The free core is intended to solve the most common tracking problem: a merchant ships an order and needs a fast, reliable way to tell the buyer where the package is.
Tracking where customers already look
The planned experience places tracking details on the WooCommerce order screen, customer My Account area and transactional email flow. A merchant selects the carrier, enters the tracking number and saves the shipment. The customer receives a clickable carrier tracking link instead of having to copy a number into a search engine or contact support.
Carrier-friendly architecture
The initial roadmap includes presets for common carriers and a flexible structure that can support additional services. O2S is intentionally separating the basic tracking workflow from carrier API complexity so smaller stores can use the plugin without opening accounts with every carrier. Advanced carrier automation can be layered into Pro as those integrations are completed.
Free core versus Pro automation
The free edition is planned to include manual tracking entry, carrier links, customer display and basic shipment status. Pro is designed for stores that need multiple shipments on one order, bulk tools, advanced carrier presets, automation hooks, branded tracking experiences and more operational controls.
Why we are building it
Shipment tracking is a common WooCommerce requirement, but many merchants only need a focused tool rather than an entire logistics platform. Our objective is to create a cleaner entry-level product with a useful free edition and a Pro upgrade that earns its price by saving staff time.
Development status
The plugin is currently under development. Final carrier coverage, release compatibility and pricing will be published here as the product reaches public testing.
